Biography
Dr. Song is an Assistant Professor of Construction Management at the University of Houston. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration on Construction Engineering and Management at the University of Alberta, Canada in 2004. He teaches construction management and project planning and scheduling at both undergraduate and graduate level. His primary research interests include process simulation and visualization, productivity measurement and improvement, and computer applications in construction. For more than ten years, he has been involved in projects funded by various grants from Project Management Institute, National Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada, Fluor Corporation, Baker Concrete Construction Inc., and several other construction companies. He has published more than 25 journal and conference papers on his research.
